Quick Review
This new SciPhone is a knock off the HTC Dream and has some features of the T Mobile G1 - namely it runs off of the Google Android interface. Of course, this makes tons of things possible at your finger tips, like google maps, google searching, google mail, google SMS, Blogger, google calendar, google docs, gmail, etc.
This one is a tri band and unlike many clones, it’s only single sim. But, this phone more than makes up for this in other areas. It has the finger touch interface. It has a 4.0 MP camera. It has an android music player and it can hold up to 16MB of memory. And, it has WiFi.
It’s also among the fastest clones on the market as it browses the net over edge 2.75G as well as WiFi hot spots. It has the shake to the music or shake and tilt control feature which is very popular on other clones. The icons are very cool and intuitive on this phone. It is sleek and light - weighing in at only 110 grams. It has a high resolution touch screen. The keyboard is qwerty, but is build in to the touch screen. Basically, a flat electronic keyboard comes on the screen when you are ready to text or enter info. And, you can enter a lot of info. This supports all of the office / smart phone features as well.
Like almost all clones, it is contract free. You can use any GSM sim card (AT&T, T Mobile, Cingular, etc.) Even pre paid GSM sim cards work on these phones.
